NSW Storms – Stay safe

It’s just over a year since our last wild weather throughout the Hunter New England area which claimed the lives of about half a dozen people. This weekend the Bureau of Meteorology (bom.gov.au) is warning of possible “destructive winds, heavy rainfall, abnormally high tides and damaging surf.”

Remembering last year, the HNE area is no stranger to flash flooding and damaging winds. Many people were left with damaged homes, and many more were injured or narrowly escaped severe injury when driving at this time.

Please stay safe, and remember – you can’t help patients if you yourself are injured!
